For reliability and long-term performance, Comar sliding door hardware is cycle tested to more than 25000 cycles. In addition, the doors will meet Secured by Design, PAS24 2012 and even BREEAM Assessments.

The profiles of the Comar lift and slide door have been designed so that the door can be thermally enhanced with an additional foam that goes between the polyamide thermal barriers.

Comar sliding doors offer advantages for installers and fabricators.

Comar has ensured that their sliding door system meets all the requirements of fabricators and installers for new and refurbishment applications. For example, there are ten different cill and pressing profiles available for the product ensuring most site conditions can be met.

For commercial applications, porches or other projects sliding doors can be designed with a 65mm mullion or transom giving greater flexibility. Doors can be specified with a single or double track to meet the configuration required.

The Comar lift and slide door is configurable as a two, three or four panel sliding door.

Two panel doors are possible with a sliding leaf behind a fixed panel or two independent sliding panels. Three panel doors again offer three sliding panels or two end panels sliding to the middle or the middle panel sliding to the left or the right. For a four panel door there is the option of two central bi-parting door leaves or four sliding panels to the left or the right.

Typical sight lines from the edge of the outer frame to the glass line are 145mm with an interlock of 123mm. The head and cill offer a 151mm dimension.
