Centor Bifolding doors have received global recognition after winning the internationally recognised Red Dot Award for their Integrated doors product.

Centor Integrated Bifolding Doors come with a hidden screen enabling protection when the doors are open.
The Red Dot Design Award is awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. For 60 years Red Dot has recognised products of great design, concept and function. Winners of awards are also showcased in the Red Dot Design Museum in Germany. 2014 saw nearly 16000 entries to these awards from 70 counties.
What is the Centor Integrated door?
The Centor Integrated system offers folding, single or french doors with a sliding door range due soon. Part of the Integrated Centor Doors are a range of screens providing privacy and shading. Unlike other doors that rely on face applied blinds or screens, Centor builds these valuable features into their bifolding doors.
The Screen option offers two types of mesh shading and offers several advantages. Where the sun may be too strong or where privacy is required the integrated screens available with the Centor product is a valuable addition. Particularly during the summer nights these screens also act as an insect screen enabling you to keep bifolding doors open but with protection from insects and bugs. This is particularly useful during the evening when the lights are on. There are also standard or tight weaves available depending on the level of protection required.
Cleverly the shades available with the Centor Integrated doors are housed in the door jamb resulting in clear sight lines and no bulky plant on sections typically found with after market blinds and shades. Doors over over 4.5metres wide can feature shades and mesh.
Centor Integrated doors available in Aluminium or Hybrid Aluminium.
Hybrid products comprising solid wood internally with aluminium externally are gaining greater awareness for the aesthetic, acoustic and thermal advantages they offer. Also available is a thermally broken full aluminium system enjoying all the advantages of high quality polyester powder coated on both inside and outside faces.
The Hybrid system uses European Oak in a choice of colours and finishes. In aluminium a contemporary door with slim lines and high quality of manufacture is available benefitting from the massive choice of colours only possible with polyester powder coating.
Centor’s Integrated Doors will be visible during June and July 2015 in the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany showcasing contemporary design and will also be included in the museum’s permanent display.
