Origin Bifolding Doors gain greater exposure

Origin bifolding Doors launched their television campaign highlighting that marketing for bifolding doors is moving towards the television advertising typical of the larger home improvement firms. The Origin Television adverts sponsor the programme Dream Homes that is features on Sky Channel.

Origin are the latest company to embark on television advertising for bifolding doors.

Until now, television advertising for home improvement products, focused largely on windows and doors from the large national firms such as Everest, Anglian, and Safestyle.  All three over the years have used discount incentives in their advertising whether as 50% off deals or buy one get one free incentives.

Traditionally slogans have been used in Television Advertising with Everest using the “Fit the Best, Fit Everest” slogan for over 30 years and the well know Scottish window company CR Smith with several slogans over the years, the most memorable being “windows so good, you’ll want to show them off”

A New Breed of Door

Origin doors have taken a different take on their advertising. The television adverts focus on the slogan “a new breed of door”.

There are a series of 6 adverts each of 10 seconds duration.  All begin with a caveman scene depicting just how basic doors were in prehistoric times made out of rock, branches or leaves.  The adverts highlight the problems of excess weight, low security, precarious houses made from branches that topple and other.

The adverts then move onto today’s modern house scene featuring couples and families enjoying bifolding doors installed in their kitchens, bedrooms and sitting rooms.  All feature modern lifestyle signals typical of modern living such as partners coming home from work, drinks at the ready, morning scenes.

The television adverts highlight what benefits bifolding doors bring to a home.

All the six television adverts pan out to strongly highlight the benefits bifolding doors bring to a home most importantly light, views out into the garden or surroundings and the modern contemporary living synonymous with bifolding doors today.

Importantly these television adverts are also set in properties finished to a fantastic standard.  It is the clever use of desirable properties that not only make the viewer desire the lifestyle appeal of a bifolding door but the adverts also tempt viewers with “I want a room like this” or “I want a kitchen like that”.

The Origin Bifolding door television adverts also highlight the complete picture of how entire homes can be transformed with bifolding doors.
